A nationwide drug prevention campaign in Italy has surpassed one million drug-prevention booklets distributed in recent weeks. The initiative forms part eu newsroom of the Truth About Drugs campaign, which aims to provide factual education about commonly abused substances and their impact on health and society.

Approximately hundreds of volunteers across the country are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in schools, businesses and urban centres. The campaign focuses on raising awareness before drug use begins, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a simple way.
